Our Story
JJ Textile started its journey in 1959 from a small district in New Delhi, supplying limited quantities of greige cotton for traditional menswear. After eventually establishing its core expertise in cotton, it added rayon to its product categories.
Over the years, having built a strong grip on the local market, it set out to expand its headquarters to one of the most upcoming textile hubs of India- Surat in 1991. With very few players in the market, JJ Textile found an untapped opportunity in polyester fabrics. After years of research, and learning, JJ Textile became one of the first brands in India to supply different varieties of polyester fabrics to international exporters.
By 2006, the company expanded its international client base to 10 countries, fulfilling their business needs for high-quality fabrics.
After building a thorough technical knowledge base and reputation in the domestic and international markets, JJ Textile embarked on its next target to become an environmentally and socially responsible brand. JJ Textile shifted its focus towards sustainable fabrics in 2016.
Since then it has been sourcing its fabrics from Inditex, GOTS, BCI, Inditex, M&S, and OEKO-TEX-certified weavers and mills. J.J Textile recognized the importance of sustainability and targeted to integrate innovative and sustainable practices at the core of its business by increasing its recycled products capacity and focusing on responsible purchasing.
JJ Textile now proudly delivers over 800-1,000 tons of fabrics annually to over 22 countries and 20 international brands.
Our Vision
J.J Textile seeks to maintain its leadership position as a fabrics supplier in both domestic and international markets. We aim to further strengthen our R&D team to continue producing high performing fabrics, including technical textiles and optimise our existing end-to-end operating procedures.
It also envisions incorporating blockchain technology to create a more transparent and sustainable supply chain, enabling our consumers to be aware of the entire chain.
